Nutrition

In addition to breakfast & morning/afternoon tea, a nutritious lunch is provided each day prepared onsite by our chef, Shunji.

Shunji has many years of professional experience/ training and through collaboration with families and peak nutrition bodies, has developed a range of meals that are both popular and highly nutritious.
Meals are prepared based on seasonal availability, inspiration, temperature/weather and at the chef’s discretion.
Specific food allergies/intolerances are acknowledged and alternative ingredients/meals are provided for medically diagnosed allergies upon request.
Children are encouraged to eat at the specified meal-times however, healthy foods (bananas/sandwiches etc.) are available on request as would happen in most homes.
The following two-week Menu Plan is a guide to some of the meals that are provided on an ongoing basis.

Menu Plan

Pizza Supreme – vegetables, cheese, pizza sauce on pizza bread
Bolognese –textured vegetable protein, capsicum, mushroom, oregano, tomato, onion, broccoli, carrot, served with cheese and pasta
Pasta Napoletana – vegetarian sausage, Tomato, basil, mushroom, sliced olives, capsicum, broccoli, onion, carrot and garlic, served with pasta and cheese
Mac & Cheese –pasta, carrot, cauliflower, broccoli and corn, oven baked with cheese and white sauce
Bangers & Mash – Vegetarian sausage, carrot, onion, garlic, mushroom and tomato stewed in gravy sauce served with fresh potato mash
Baked Bean with Mash -Mixed beans, capsicum, mushroom, onion, broccoli, carrot and tomato served with cheese and mash
Coconut cream and turmeric Tofu Curry over rice – tofu, zucchini, onion, carrot, broccoli, garlic, and coconut milk served with rice
Masala Dhal Curry –red lentils, tomatoes, carrot, onion, broccoli, garlic, and zucchini served with rice
Tom Yum Noodle Soup – tomato, tofu, edamame beans, vermicelli noodles, zucchini, onion, carrot, and lemongrass, served with pasta
Potato and Cauliflower Soup – potato, cauliflower, onion and garlic served with cheese and rice or pasta.
Pumpkin soup -butternut pumpkin, Japanese pumpkin, sweet potato and carrot, served with cheese and rice or pasta.
Mexican Mixed Beans – Mixed Beans, cumin, tomato, capsicum, carrot, onion, garlic, broccoli and paprika served with couscous and cheese.
Guacamole with Pasta – Avocado, capsicum, corn kennels served with pasta and cheese.
Beetroot relish-Beetroot, tomato, onion carrot, served with cheese and pasta.
